Josephine V. (Wahula) Park, 91, of Uniontown, PA, formerly of Grays Landing, died on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born on January 18, 1923, in Russelton, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Kathryn (Sablo) Wahula.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Park, Sr.; a son, Frank J. Park, Jr.; two brothers, Matthew Wahula and Walter Wahula; and four sisters, Mary Caruso, Ann Wahula, Sophie Stys, and Blanche Cope.

Josephine was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Parish in Masontown, PA.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ronald J. Park and wife Joann of Uniontown; and daughter, Joyce A. Wallace and husband Stevenson of Virginia; grandchildren, David R. Park and wife Jennifer of Uniontown, Alyssa M. Park-Hutchings, M.D. and husband Tim of Georgia, Adrienne Park of West Virginia, Frank W. Park of Masontown; a great grandchild, Jocelyn Park; four sisters, Helen Machesky of Florida, Loretta Auther of Ohio, Wanda Richnavsky of Ohio, Louise Zelina of Masontown; daughter-in-law, Deborah Park of Masontown, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, PA, on Saturday, May 10, 2014 from 10 am until 11:30 am when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 12 Noon in St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Parish, 101 South Washington St., Masontown, PA, with Rev. Father William G. Berkey as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at the Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

Her family has asked that donations in her memory be made to Fayette Friends of Animals, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or the American Heart Association.
