Joseph M. "TV Joe" Muzidal age 77, of Masontown, PA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 27, 2011.



He was born July 14, 1933 in Filbert, PA, son of Frank Sr. and Sophia (Zaiglin) Muzidal.



Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Edward. Muzidal, and Stanley Muzidal, and sisters, Helen Boskovich and Bertha Szwed.



Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Helen (Pokorny) Muzidal; their children, Steven J. Muzidal, David M. Muzidal; a brother Frank Muzidal; sisters, Rita Sumey, JoAnn Sowinski, and many nieces and nephews.



Joseph was employed with Zaiglin's Radio & Electric Service in Masontown for 55 years, affectionately known to his friends and family as "TV Joe". He served his country during the Korean War with the United States Army

He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church., Leckrone, PA; a lifetime member of the Fort Mason American Legion Post 423, and a lifetime member of The Masontown Fish and Game Club.



Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 North Main St., Masontown, PA, this evening (Saturday) from 6-9 PM, Sunday, from 2-4 & 6-9 PM, and Monday, January 31, 2011 until 12:00 Noon, when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30 PM in Our Lady Perpetual Help, Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Father John M. Butler as Celebrant.

Interment will be held in Our Lady of Perpetual Help St Mary Cemetery, Leckrone, PA, where military honors will be accorded by Faith-Gray-McArdle VFW Post 4584.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Saint Mary, Roman Catholic Church, P.O. Box 248, Leckrone, PA 15454; or to a charity of your choice.

The Parish Wake Service will be held on Sunday afternoon at 3 PM, followed by St. Mary's Rosary Society at 3:15 PM.
