Joseph P. Semans, 92 of Uniontown passed on Tuesday October 7, 2025. Born January 20, 1933 in Uniontown, son of the late Steve and Rose (Sweda) Semans. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor A. (Lukac) Semans. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two infant sisters. He is survived by his children Joe (Patty), Jim (Donna) and Tom (JoAnn) Semans; his grandchildren, Brian (Ashley), Chris (Mandy), Katie, Aaron Fitzsimmons, Ryan (Jessica) Fitzsimmons, Jen (John) Hines, Megan (Ethan) Dutton and Alli (Danny) Stent; his 9 great- grandchildren; his brothers Steve Semans and Michael (Babe) Semans and sister Margaret Gregg and several nieces and nephews. Joe was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the Army as well as a member of the VFW. He spent most of his career with Westinghouse Bettis Atomic Laboratories retiring as a Senior Scientist. Joe was also a active member of St. Mary (Nativity) Church where he and Eleanor enjoyed singing in the choir. In their retirement years they enjoyed roller skating and making ceramics. Vernon Ave. Uniontown. Burial to follow at Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
