Joseph W. "Buddy" Korelko, Jr.

age 66, of Lemont Furnace, PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at the Uniontown Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 6, 1944 in Uniontown, PA, son of the late Joseph Korelko, Sr. and Elizabeth (Voytek) Korelko.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Joseph L. Haky.

He was a member of Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church; a 2nd Degree member of The Knights of Columbus Council #1275; and President of J K Packing Co., Uniontown, PA.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 45 years, Frances E. (Evans) Korelko; children, Joseph W. Korelko III and wife Kathy, and Carolyn E. Rohm and husband Kevin; grandchildren, Emily Rohm, Madison Korelko, Bailey Rohm, Tyler Kenes, and soon to be born granddaughter, Kayla Korelko; sisters, Jane Haky and Cynthia Morgan and husband Albert; and a brother, David Korelko and wife Lynn.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Avenue Extension, Uniontown, PA, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; and on Saturday, February 5, 2011, until 10:15 a.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. in Saint Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Father Stephen R. Bugay as Celebrant and Rev. Father Matthew R. Brozovic OFM as Concelebrant.

Interment will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.

Parish Wake Service will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made to The American Heart Association.
