Joseph Edward Kelley, 68, known to family as "Joey", "Junebug" or "Bug", of Uniontown, formerly of Fairchance, Born Wednesday January 12, 1955, Died Sunday August 27, 2023. son of the late Joseph Benjamin and Patricia "Patty" Ann (Hellen) Kelley. Deceased 1 Brother, 1 Sister, 1 Niece, Terry Lee Kelley, Anita Marie Kelley Little, Kaitlyn Kelley Gibbs, Uncle John Franklin Hellein, special cousin David Chris Malin Jr. , Fraternal grandparents-Joseph O. and Cassie Kelly, Maternal Grandparents-Edward James and Oma Mae (Laick) Hellein. Survived by 1 brother, 2 sisters Gerald Ray Kelley, Tammi Sue Kelley Dinzeo-Eike and Brenda Joyce Kelley, 9 nephews, Gerald Joseph, Jerrett, Johnnie Kelley, Zackery Gibbs, Harley David Kelley, Danny, Tyler and Kyle Little and Terry "TK" Kelley; 3 nieces Ashley Nicole Jean Fields, Marisa Sue Dinzeo and Tess Gibbs, and 5 cousins, Malinda Joyce, Vicki Sue, Johnnie R. and Buddy D. Hellein and James Edward Malin. Devoted aunts; MPOA Janet Lorraine Hellein Nelson and Nancy "Jean" Hellein Malin both whom overseen Joey's care since 2003 to the present. Joey attended ARC School 1979-2014 Old New Salem Road. Loved the Three Stooges and Spiderman. He was holding "Spidey" while peacefully passing to be with his loved one's again. Loved music and dancing at the Goal Post, Polish Club and Story Square. Bowling on the Special Olympics team, winning several silver and one gold medal at Manor Lanes, Hopwood and going to McDonald's. Previously attended with his mother and siblings Bible Baptist Church, Uniontown.
Had a great sense of humor. Everyone that knew or met Joey loved him. He could make you laugh. A sweet lovable guy. He'll be missed tremendously. To everyone: staff, nurses, social workers. doctors at Jefferson Hospital, Lafayette Manor, Amedisys Hospice, the F.C.B.H.A, Sheri Mitchell and Hollie Shimatzki for their kind hearts and care shown to Joe. A Sincere Thanks ! There will be no viewing, no visiting hours, no service. Arrangement with Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home of Uniontown. Cremation and Burial at a later time and placed next to his father/mother in Maple Grove Cemetery in Fairchance.
