Joseph M. Duda, 91 of Uniontown passed away on Tuesday January 28, 2025. Born February 23, 1933 in Allison, PA son of the late Stanley and Mary (Squirek) Duda; Beloved husband of 67 years to Frances (Galica) Duda; Father of Dr. Joseph Duda of Daniel, WV, brother of Frances Coking of Arizona. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Anthony, Johnny, Stanley, Eddie, Tommy, Paul, Rosemary and Stella. He was retired as a clerk from the US Postal service. He was an Army veteran and a member of St. Joseph Church and the AMVETS of Hopwood and played in the senior's competitive softball league. Visitation at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown on Monday from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM when prayers of transfer will be said followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM at St. Joseph Church, Old Walnut Hill Rd., Uniontown. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Macrina Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
