Obituary

Jonette C. (Josie) (Redshaw) Curry, age 72, of Uppermiddletown, Menallen Twp., Pa., died and went to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 3, 2015. She was surrounded by her family.

Josie was born March 6, 1942 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a daughter of John C. and Willetta M. (Harford) Redshaw, now deceased. Also deceased are, a brother, John Melvin Redshaw, grandparents, Georget & Emma (Noullet) Harford, Robert and Sarah (Neale) Redshaw, and a godmother Erma Harford of Pittsburgh, Pa., and daughter in law Roxann Sumey Curry.

Josie was a graduate of Uniontown Senior High School in 1960; she was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, a member of the church choir, a den mother and leader of the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts of Menallen Twp.

She was also active in the Democratic Party and Judge of elections of Menallen Twp., District I.

Surviving are two daughters, Tina Marie, husband Marc Masters of Key West, Fl., and Kimberly A. Reed and partner Buck McGarrity of Uppermiddletown, Pa., and two sons, Michael Curry, wife Dawn of Manassas Va., and James J. Curry of Grindstone, Pa.,

Josie is also survived by grandchildren Jessica Caudill & Taylor Curry, Deeva & Devon Kushak, Raymond & Ashley Masters, great grandchildren, Kaiden & Brycen Ritz, Brothers Russell G. and wife Ruth Redshaw, David A, wife Kate Redshaw, Christopher R. wife Sheryl Redshaw, a sister Maxine Redshaw of Emigsville, Pa., and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Family & Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. Friday March 6, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., and on Saturday March 7, 2015 until 11:15 p.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

A Funeral Mass will follow in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, at 12 p.m., with Fr. James Clark as Celebrant.

The Parish Wake Service will be held Friday March 6, 2015 at 4 p.m.

Interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA
