John Charles Sansone, 94, of Uniontown, PA, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2019. Born July 21, 1925, to Charles and Mary Sansone, John was a graduate of Duquesne University. He received his masters at University of Maryland and furthered his education at 9 other colleges and universities. John worked as teacher and principal for the Maryland and Pennsylvania school systems and served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He was a fan of jazz and Frank Sinatra, an avid wine collector and travelled throughout the country. He supported numerous charities especially those supporting his fellow veterans.

John is pre-deceased by his parents and his brother Anthony Sansone and is survived by his two nieces Donna Noto and Toni Blais and their families and his sister-in-law Juliette Sansone.

Viewing Friday 7-9 PM, Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext, Uniontown. Saturday Prayers of Transfer 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 50 Jefferson St., Uniontown at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery with military honors.
