John J. "Ace"Falat, age 84, of Uniontown, PA., passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in the Uniontown Hospital..
He was born on April 30, 1928 in Redstone Township.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Emily Jane (Beck) Falat, two brothers, Joseph, and Steve, and three sisters Anna, Sophie and Helen.
John was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, Pa., VFW Post 8543, and was a Colonel with the civil air patrol.
Left to cherish his memory is his children Robert Grimm and his wife Patricia, Kathy Grimm, a brother Andrew Falat, his sister Mary Sroka, nephews A.J. Falat, Robert Tajc, niece Bernadette Hamborsky and several great nieces and great nephews.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA., on Thursday August 30, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9PM and Friday August 31, 2012, until 10 a.m., when a blessing service will be held with Fr. Stephen R. Bugay officiating.
Interment will follow at Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
