John Cipolletti, age 89, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Monday June 4, 2012.

He was born on July 17, 1922 in Herbert, Pa., a son of Philip and Lucie (Daminai) Cipolletti.

John was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, He proudly served his country in Germany with The United States Army in WWII where he was a POW. He was the former owner/operator of Jan & Jeff's Pools in Uniontown, Pa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers; Gloria Taylor, Angeline Krout, Carylon Ceccarelli, Emilio Cipolletti, Perry Cipolletti and Frederick Marinelli.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Irma June (Grimes) Cipolletti, children; John R. Cipolletti and wife Kathleen, Bonita J. Cipolletti, Beverly K. Beveloque and husband Leonard, Angela Talley and husband Raymond, Phillip S. Cipolletti and wife Janie, grandchildren; Andrea, Alexandra, Baxter, Gina, Brian, great grandchildren; Anthony, Rowan and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. Thursday June 7, 2012, 7-9 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Saturday June 9, 2012 until 11 a m the hour of service with Reverend Bernard Carl officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.

Where military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post 51 and VFW.
