JOAN FERCHAK ANTHONY, age 79 of Uniontown, PA passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior at her home on Thursday, August 17, 2017. She was born April 14, 1938, daughter of Stella and Stephen Ferchak. She was also predeceased by her son, Samuel Anthony.

She is survived by her husband Ray Gene Anthony; Daughters, Lori Catalucci and husband Tonino, and Natalie Anthony; Grandchildren, Ryan Anthony, Adrienne Anthony McGee and husband Robert, Lindsay Anthony Bain and husband Gerald; Greatgrandchildren, Gavin and Laila Bain; Brother, Richard Ferchak Sr; Sister, Francine Ferchak Zoldock and husband Mel; Sisters In Law, Sandi Anthony and Madalyn Shumar-Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.

Joan was known as a beautiful, soft spoken woman who loved her family passionately. Everyone who knew her was blessed by her presence and saw her kind and humble spirit. She was an active member of St George Maronite Church, Uniontown. She was active in Christian Women of the church and held Bible studies at her home. She was a faithful supporter of St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.

Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home, Uniontown, on Saturday, August 19, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. George Maronite Church on Sunday, August 20 at 10:30 am. Interment in Lafayette Memorial Park.
