Mr. Jerry W. Hider, 79, of Uniontown, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Mt. Macrina Manor.

He was born in Uniontown on December 23, 1946 to the late Oliver and Helen Coddington Hider.

Jerry graduated from North Union High School.

He married Barbara Dunch on April 30, 1966.

Jerry worked at Calvert Wire in Uniontown for thirty-five years. He then worked at Mylan Pharmaceuticals in Morgantown for ten years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hider; and two nieces, Terry and Kara; an aunt, Dolores Hider; two sister-in-laws, Gloria and Dolly; two brother-in-laws, Mark and Mike; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet and Annitta; and a brother, Edmund.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
