Jeffrey Thomas Baird, 52, of Uniontown, PA passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at home. He was born on August 22, 1965 in Uniontown, PA, a son of Russell F. Baird and Anna Marie (Pollak) Baird.

He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Hutchinson Sportsman's Club, Amvets Post 103 and Independent Slovak Citizens Club.

He was employed by Hanson Aggregates, and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local Union #66.

Jeff spent his days in his garage where he supported his son and their shared love for dirt track racing. Every Saturday you could find him cheering for his son J.T. "#95".

He will be remembered as a loving husband to his wife of 33 years, Lorraine (Nicklow) Baird, as well as a devoted father to Jeffrey Thomas Baird, II. and girlfriend Ally Conn. His wife and his son were his world.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents as well as his brother Michael Scott Baird.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Russ and Anna Marie Baird, his in-laws, William "Ed" and Larna Nicklow of Oliver; his brother, Russell Joseph Baird and wife Violet; his sister, Kim Civit and husband Joseph of Uniontown; sister, Susan Patterson and fiance' Stephen of Arizona; sisters-in-law, Gwen Schreck and husband Eric, Michelle Morrow and husband Terry, Cheryl Petrush and husband Paul, Billy Jean Androsky and husband Steve, and Pam Baird.

Also left to cherish his memory are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave.  Ext., Uniontown, PA, Tuesday, August 14, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.; and Wednesday, August 15, until 10:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Father Bob Lubic Officiating.

Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
