Jean L. Gibson, age 78, of Uniontown, PA., passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital, with her family at her side. She was born in Uniontown, PA. on June 5, 1934. Jean was the daughter of the late Elmer Yowler and Thelma (Rowe) Yowler who preceded her in death.

Jean was the owner of Loretta's Tavern on Fayette St. in Uniontown. She believed that her greatest achievement was being a mother and grandmother and above all else lived for her family.



Left to cherish her memory are husband of 63 years, Robert Gibson Jr.; her children, Brenda Lee Gray and husband Michael, Robin Ann Moore and husband Gary, and Robert "Bobby" Gibson III; five grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and a brother, Elmer W. "Sonny" Yowler

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Saturday, October 6, 2012 from 12-1 PM the hour of service with Pastor Heather Simpson officiating

Interment will be Private.
