James M. "Jim" Maust, 85 of Uniontown passed on November 1, 2019. Born March 11, 1934 in Uniontown, son of the late Charles and Christina (Petrone) Maust; Beloved husband of Rheba Jane (Schiffbauer) Maust, the Love of her life for 26 years; Step Father of Barbara Cummings, Step Grandfather of Tana Cummings, brother of Anna Sparks, Mary Jo Mattia and the late Elmo, Charles and Paul "Sonny' Maust; brother-in-law of Janet Maust; Many nieces and nephews also survive. Jim was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean War, worked for USS Steel at the Homestead works, a member of St. Joan of Arc Church, the AMVETS and the Knights of Columbus, 4 th Degree member. He was a assistant at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home and an avid golfer.
Viewing at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext, Uniontown on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Wednesday Prayers of Transfer 10:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church, Farmington. Interment to follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery with full military honors accorded. Parish wake service will be at 3 PM in the funeral home. Tributes welcome@www.hakyfuneralhome.com
