Mr. James M. Hamborsky, 46, of Uniontown, PA passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, with his loving family by his side.

He was born in Uniontown, PA to John and Pauline (Ciampanelli) Hamborsky. James graduated from Uniontown Area High School, class of 1995, Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science  and  Point Park College.

James had a business relationship with Mitchell's Tavern of Oakland, PA where he enjoyed cooking, tending bar and socializing with the patrons and many became life long friends.

James had a great love for life!  He was the life of the party and always had a smile on his face.  James had many joys in life including fishing, hunting, canoeing and spending time with family and friends.  He passed many weekends at flea markets perusing for treasures in the search for the perfect item for himself or others.  Walmart layout and inventory were a specialty of James' where he enjoyed walking the aisles to help family and friends locate their items.  James was an "Unofficial Ambassador" of Walmart. James spent many hours working in his yard which brought him much joy and satisfaction.  He spoiled his fur-friends Tilley, Paisley and Leo with many treats, bones, toys and blankets.

James is survived by his mother Pauline (Ciampanelli) Hamborsky of Bolivia, NC;   siblings: John Hamborsky and wife Allison of Blacksburg, VA, Cheryl Goodwin and husband Bruce of Uniontown, PA, Gregory Hamborsky and wife Terrie of Bolivia, NC; nephews and nieces: Alex Hamborsky and wife Justine, Kayla Goodwin, John Charles Hamborsky and wife Stephanie, Benjamin Goodwin and Lindsay, and Alexis Hamborsky; great niece Clarissa Hamborsky.

James was preceded in death by his father John M. Hamborsky.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 11 AM, with visitation hour before from 10 to 11 AM at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home located at 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401.  Inurnment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
