Jacqueline "Jackie" (Paschke) Burkett, 84, of Lemont Furnace, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born at home, in Lemont Furnace, on May 14, 1934, a daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Lynn (Bowers) Paschke.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Daniel Metz; and several of her brothers and sisters.

Jackie worked as an L.P.N. for most of her life, she also owned and operated several Personal Care Homes. She was a member of the North Union V.F.W. post 8543, Uniontown.

Left to cherish her memory, are her children, Donald E. Metz, Garry V. Metz and his wife, Donna, and Trudy Burkett; she is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Larry Paschke; her sisters, Barbara Ann Paschke and Thelma Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, today, June 20, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, June 21, until 11 a.m. the Hour of Service with Pastor Mike Lyons Officiating.

Entombment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery Mausoleum.
