Jacob J. "Jake" Stafire III, age 58 of Grindstone, PA., went to be with his Lord and savior, on Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Jake was born on November 5, 1953, in Brownsville, PA. He was the son of the late Jacob E. Stafire II and Anna (Suhar) Stafire.

Jake was happily married to his wife Cindy for 38 years. He was a member of the Masontown Mennonite Church and UMWA local post 1248.

Along with his parents Jake was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Lloy Baer; and mother-in-law, Mary Baer.

Those left to cherish Jakes memory are his Beloved wife, Cynthia (Baer) Stafire; son, Jacob J. Stafire IV; sisters, Barbara Zimcosky and her husband Frank, and Eileen Thompson and her husband Shannon; brothers-in-law, Richard Baer, Lloy Baer and wife Marlena; a sister-in-law, Mary " Pebbles" Distelrath and her husband Pat; two special nieces, Bridget and Belle; his beloved pets Tuffy and Ke$ha; as well as many more nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends will be received at the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Uniontown, PA. 15401 on Monday, August 13, 2012 from 2-9PM and Tuesday, August 14, 2012 until 11:00 AM the hour of service with Rev. Roland M. O'Brien officiating,

Interment will immediately follow at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
