Jack A. Suich, 69, of Uniontown, PA, died suddenly on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at home. He was born on January 12, 1943 in Uniontown, PA, son of Albert and Pauline Suich.

His parents; sisters, Betty, Shirley, Mary Louise; and a brother, Robert preceded him in death.

Jack was affectionately known as "Chubby" by his family and close friends. He was an avid Classic Car fan, and enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He retired from the Pennsylvania State Highway Dept. where he had been an Inspector.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Judith A. (Hillen) Suich; two children, Michael A. Suich and wife Diane; and Jennifer A. Suich and loving companion Jack Shaffer, Jr., all of Uniontown, PA; three grandchildren, Jessica, Jake, and Ellie Suich; a brother, Bill Suich and wife Angela of Girard, OH; two sisters, Judy DiDominico and husband Hank of Seminole, FL, Dolores Coyne of Largo, FL; many dear nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Kyna Leapline of Dunbar, PA.

He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Molly and Stanley.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, September 18, from 10 am until 2 pm, the Hour of Service to be held in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Keith Lohr Officiating.

Interment will be private.
