Irma Berkshire's Obituary
Irma (Nenni) Berkshire, age 82, of Masontown, Pennsylvania, entered into Eternal Life with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 12, 2012.
She was born on September 25, 1929 in Glenn Lyon, PA, daughter of the late Ruggerio and Irma (Mangini) Nenni.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband James Berkshire in 1975, and three sisters, infant Esther Nenni, Esther Bennucci, and Violet Kott.
Irma was a member of Cherry Tree Alliance Church, Uniontown, PA, where she served as church treasurer after retirement. She was employed for many years with the former Second National Bank of Masontown. She was also a former local business owner with her husband Jim, operating J & B Lumber Company, and Girard's Clothing Stores.
Left to cherish her memory are four daughters, Yvonne Donai and husband Carl, Kim Sierzenga and husband Leon, and Nancy Aello and husband Augustine, all of Masontown, PA; and Janet Neely and husband David of New Cumberland, WV; eight grandchildren, Dr. Jeremy Donai and wife Tara of Lubbock, TX; Jason Donai and wife Kristen of Morgantown, WV, Joshua Donai and wife Kristin of Pittsburgh, PA, Leanne Flowers and husband Chad of Uniontown, PA, Hannah and Rebekah Aello both of Masontown, PA, and Kathryn and Kristina Neely, both of New Cumberland, WV; three great grandchildren, Addison and Jeremy James Donai. Jr. of Lubbock, TX, and Dylan Flowers of Uniontown, PA; two sisters, Pauline Sutton of Lenexa, Kansas, and Barbara Annunzi of Fairfax, VA; a brother, Roger Nenni of Kingston, PA; and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA on Wednesday, March 14, from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m.
The family will also receive friends at the Cherry Tree Alliance Church, 640 Cherry Tree Lane, Uniontown, PA on Thursday, March 15, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the Hour of Service, with Pastor Rev. Robert Ellenberger Officiating.
Interment will follow at Greendale Cemetery, Masontown, PA.
