Irene E. "Ike" (Prekler) Miller, age 89, of Charleroi, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Monongahela Valley Hospital, with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 15, 1925 in Painsville, OH, a daughter of the late Steve and Margaret (Wayner) Prekler.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edson H. Miller; brothers, Steve Prekler and Joe Prekler; and sisters, Margaret Hosford, Julia Brewer, and Helen Rose.

Left to cherish her memory are, her four children, Dan E. Miller and wife Teena of Brownsville, PA, Margaret A. Weaver and husband Daniel of Venetia, PA, Miles C. Miller and Martha Wolfe Brangard both of Charleroi, PA; grandchildren, Dan Miller Jr. and wife Crystal, Amathyst Miller-Wilkins and husband John, Nathanial Miller, Margaret Brangard and husband Russell, Miles Franklin Miller and Martha R. Miller; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext, Uniontown, PA., on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, February, 25 until 11 a.m. the hour of Funeral Service.

The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lee Maley Officiating.

Entombment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Chapel of Memories Mausoleum.
