Herbert "Boog" Hungerford Jr, age 54 of Fort Worth, Texas departed this life on October 17, 2024 at Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center in Sunnyvale, Texas.

Herb was born June 29, 1970 in Brownsville, PA, to the late Herbert Sr and Sylvia (Cherry)Hungerford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Frank and Ida Bell Hungerford and maternal grandparents, William and Delores Cherry. Special Aunts Henrietta and Georgetta. Special cousin William (BJ). He is survived by two sons, Kyle and Herbert III' ;Special Aunt Cynthia "Aunt Pent" Cherry of Columbus, Ohio; Special Cousins, Teresa and Dorita Cherry of Columbus, Ohio, Marcia Howell of Arizona.

He also leaves to morn his loss a host of cousins, and friends.  Herb was raised in Columbus, Ohio by his widower father after the passing of his mother at a young age.  Although, he was the only child, he was loved by family and embraced by his Aunt Cynthia who raised him as her own alongside her three children.

Herb desired to adventure in life which led him to Florida, where he found his passion as a truck driver for over a decade. Leading him to reside in Georgia, then Texas, while long-hauling across various states.

We may no longer see his smile or hear his laugh, but his memories will forever be in our hearts.
