Helen (Discovich) Wontroba, age 82, of Uniontown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 14, 2012. She was born in Uniontown, PA., on August 31, 1929. Helen was the daughter of the late Walter Discovich and Julia (Kuzniar) Discovich.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Leonard G. "Penner" Wontroba; and a sister, Irene Ewanick .



Left to cherish her memory are her children, Donna J. Langley and husband Allen of Chalk Hill, PA., and Kenneth E. Wantroba of Uniontown, PA.; five grandchildren, Heather Lucy and husband Chris, Wendy Langley Gmitter and husband Donald, Briane Riddick, Allen Wontroba, and Caitlin Wontroba; and four great grandchildren, Devyn and Karsyn Lucy, and Braydon and Kiptyn Gmitter.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 2-9PM and Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM, when a Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Herb Dubler officiating.

Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
