Helen M. (Michael) Czuchan, 93 of Uniontown passed away on Monday February 16, 2026, at Monarch Meadow. Born April 28, 1932, in Uniontown, daughter of the late Dewey S. and Mary C. (John) Michael. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Czuchan Sr. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother George Michael, sister Magdeline Williams and her brothers-in-law Michael Polito and Joseph Williams and sister-in-law Vera Michael. She is survived by her children; Joseph P. Jr (Cheryl) Czuchan, Janet (Robert) Fitzpatrick and John Czuchan, all of Uniontown, her grandchildren Stephanie (Kevin Collier) Czuchan, Catherine Czuchan and Joseph P. (Taylor Thompson) Czuchan III and Bryan Nickle. Great Grandchildren; Mason and Cane Morehouse, Joseph P. IV, Jonas, and Chloe Czuchan. Her siblings Marion Polito, Ella (Frank) Polito, Josephine (Charles) Springer, Frances Michael, Robert Michael, and Patricia (Charles) Koester. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives also survive. Helen was a member of St. George Maronite Church and St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church. She worked as a caterer and served hot lunches at Sensus/Rockwell. When in high school, she served the entire game on the volleyball team, loved her Pittsburgh sports teams, was a avid bingo player and frequented the casinos. Helen's family would like to thank the staff of the Addison of Uniontown, Genesis Healthcare and Monarch Meadow for the compassionate care given her. Visitation at Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext. Uniontown on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Friday Prayers of Transfer 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph RC Church, 180 Old Walnut Hill Rd. Uniontown. Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
