Harry Hines Jr., age 74, passed away peacefully at the Uniontown Hospital on Saturday September 27, 2014.

He was born on October 16, 1939 in Uniontown, Pa., son of Harry Sr., and Ruth Ann (Crossland) Hines.

A member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Harry served his Country with The United States Army; he also served 25 years with the GSC Motorpool in Uniontown, Pa., and was a 3rd degree member of The Knights of Columbus, and a member of The Local Teamsters #491.

He was preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Shelia (Homa) Hines, daughter Tina Hines-Fountain, granddaughter Marlena "Lena" Fountain, his sisters; Polly Jean Hines-Wright and her husband James and Audry Clingan, Harry is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, Pa. Tuesday September 30, 2014 from 2-7 p.m., and on Wednesday October 1, 2041 until 10 a.m. when a blessing service will be held with Rev. Fr. Ronald Simboli officiating.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA Where military honors will be accorded by the General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 of Hopwood, Pa.
