Goldie M. Stefan Hobday Schiffbauer, age 70, passed away on March 25, 2015 in Helena, Montana surrounded by many loves and Angels.
She was born May 6, 1944 in Footdale, Pa. The daughter of the late Mary Kathryn (Garybush) and Franklin Lewis and John Stefan.
Goldie was a long time resident of Uniontown, PA and resided the past 3 years in Helena MT.
She was an expert in shopping and quite a fashionista. She had a passion for keeping us warm by her talent of crocheting. She loved filling our bellies with her delicious home cooking. In her younger days, She loved living the role of Thelma and Louise aka Tina Allen and spending time with new and lifelong friends. Her greatest enjoyment was to be with her daughters. She loved her date nights with movies and bowling with her grandchildren. She was one to light up the room with her laughter and smile.
Goldie is proceded in death by her husbands' Robert Eben Joseph Schiffbauer Jr. and Jack Thorn Hobday, and siblings Roy (Gloria) Stefan, Lois Jean Stefan, Louis Stefan, Joyce (Vince) Palya, Lydia Jane (William) Matthew
Survived by four devoted daughters, Dawn Marie (Chris) Cook of Sellersville Pa., Michele Renee (Eric) Cheeseman of Helena Mt, Roberta Lynn (Paul) Kelsch of Sellersville PA and Nanette Victoria (John) Turner of Doylestown PA; She was the proud grandmother of Blaise and Kirstin Cook, Alec and Kaitlyn Cheeseman, Dalton DuPont and Ashlee Kelsch, Anthony Turner and Harley Turner, she was also survived by her loving brother John (Sue) Stefan of Uniontown PA. she was also survived by her loving sister and brother in-laws, Elaine Rohal of Oh, Peter (Carmen) Schiffbauer of Ga, Charles Thomas (Evelyn) Schiffbauer of Ga, William Henry (Janet) Schiffbauer of Pa, Vincent "Rody" Schiffbauer of Pa, Mary (Ronald) Machesky, Joeseph Schiffbauer and Margaret "Peggy" Schiffbauer of Pa; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc. 603 North Gallatin Ave. Extension, Uniontown PA, on Sunday March 29, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. and on Monday March 30, 2015 from 10 until 11 a.m., the hour of service with Pastor Lee Maley officiating.
Internment will be private in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
