Gloria Theresa Taylor, age 87, of Uniontown, PA., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at King's Personal Care Home, with her family by her side.

Gloria was born on July 26, 1924 in Uniontown, PA. She was the daughter of the late John Cipolletti and Lucia (Damiani) Cipolletti. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Taylor; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

Gloria was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, the Elks Auxiliary, past President of the Excelsior Club, and a member of the Uniontown Business and Professional Women's Club. Above all else Gloria enjoyed being known as "The wife of the Honorable Fred Taylor", with whom she served the constituents of the 51st Legislative District.

Those left to cherish Gloria's memory are her husband, the Honorable Fred E. Taylor; her children, Patsy Taylor- Moore, Toni Taylor-Cavasina and her husband Dr. Richard Cavasina, Rita Jean Taylor, and Fred Taylor II; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Arrangements are private and under the direction of the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC. 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext. Uniontown, PA. 15401.

Interment will be private.
