Gloria Jean (Walker) Santella, 91, of Gates, PA, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born November 17, 1923 in Gates, PA, a daughter of the late Edgar L. Walker and Edna Mae (Smith) Walker.

In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred P. Santella; sister, Wanda Rudzienski; an infant sister; brother, Edgar F. Walter; and an infant brother.

She was a member of the old All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Masontown, PA, and she graduated from German Township High School, class of 1941.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Adrian "Buzz" Santella and wife Marie; Grandson, Tristan Leonard Santella of Carmichaels, PA; Special Friends and Caregivers, Miguel Torres and wife Debby of Gates, PA; and many nieces and nephews and their families.

The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Cherry Tree Nursing Home for their excellent care and for making Jean feel like part of their family.

Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Friday, January 9 from 4-8 P.M. and Saturday, January 10 until 11:30 A.M. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Parish, 101 South Washington Street, Masontown, PA 15461, at 12 noon with Rev Father James F. Petrovsky as Celebrant.

Interment will take place at St. Agnes Cemetery, Masontown, PA.
