Obituary

Glen E. Parker, 86, of Keisterville, PA, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018. He was born January 9, 1932, in Edenborn, PA, a son of the late James M. and Caroline "Nettie" (Heaton) Parker.

In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn (Ferek) Parker; his son-in-law, Timothy Podlogar; and all of his brothers and sisters.

Glen proudly served his country in the United States Army, during the Korean War. He was a member of the old VFW Post 51, and the Keisterville Sportsman's Club.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. Glen will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jeannette Podlogar and her Fiancé, Matthew Marshall; his grandchildren, Cassidy Podlogar, Allison Podlogar; and his honorary granddaughter, Alison Humberston; his loving, long time companion, Billie Dunkard; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Wednesday, February 28, from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday, March 1, until 10 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.

Interment will be held at Mt. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA. Military Honors will be accorded by the Amvets Post 103.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of the Marquis Gardens Place and Amedisys Hospice Care.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a Veterans Organization of your choosing.
