Georgetta (Childs) Kozy, 69, of Masontown, PA, died on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. She was born on April 17, 1943 in Martin, daughter of the late Paul and Nellie (Trout) Childs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael Anthony Kozy, Jr.; sisters, Betty Macky, Lucy Dillow, Mary Jane Hostetler; and brothers, Harry Childs, and Art Childs

Left to cherish her memory are her children, son Michael Anthony Kozy, III. and wife Kimberly, son Rodney Paul Kozy and wife Lori, and son James Francis Kozy, all of Masontown, PA,; beloved grandchildren, Michael Anthony Kozy, IV., Kathryn Marie Kozy, Trisha Lynn Kozy, Tyler James Kozy, and Alexis Grace Elizabeth Kozy; sisters Dolores McMurray, Pauline Ferland and a wonderful sister-in-law, Margaret Childs and her family. She also leaves behind "Casper" her loving pet.

Georgetta was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Leckrone, PA. She enjoyed taking care of her home and her family, and was a great cook and baker. She was very much loved and will be deeply missed.

Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, today, March 22, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.; and on Saturday, March 23, until 10 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home, with Rev. Father John M. Butler Officiating.

Interment will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Mary Cemetery, Leckrone, PA.
