George C. Stuck, 82, of Smithfield, Pa., died peacefully on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. He was born on October 29, 1935 in Uniontown, son of Orville and Agnes (Bittner) Stuck. His parents, beloved wife Rose Marie, and siblings, Gertrude, Orville, Agnes, Bill, Emma, Ellen, Tom and Paul, preceded him in death.

For many years he enjoyed traveling across the country with his wife in their RV. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and loved working on his farm. He was a peacetime era Navy Veteran, having served his country aboard the USS Lake Champlain in the Mediterranean, and past member of the Amvets Post 103.

Left to cherish his memory are their children, Crystal Diane Fletcher and husband Dave of Smithfield, Georgia Lee Stuck and fiancé Christina Vogt of Uniontown, and Judy Ann Loy and husband Dirk of Millington, Tn.; seven grandchildren, David, Christopher, Faith, Kami, Jayne, Frank, and Dianna; five great grandchildren, Aaron, Connor, Keira, Sebastian, and Rayna; siblings, Ruth Lincoln of McClellandtown, Bob Stuck of Virginia, Marie Clark of McClellandtown, and Irene Fagan of New Salem; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, Pa. on Friday, September 14, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the Hour of Service, with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.

Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa. where military honors will be accorded by George C. Marshall Amvets Post 103.
