Freda M. Cole, age 92, of Lemont Furnace, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013, at the Uniontown Hospital. She was born in Mammoth, PA. on June 26, 1920. Freda was the daughter of the late Alouis Mauser and Mary (Hegler) Mauser.

In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Cole; a son, Samuel "Sonny" Cole; and eight siblings, Amil Mauser, William Mauser, Rudy Mauser, Albert Mauser, Joseph Mauser, Helen Grimm, Bertha Pinto, and Rose Ann Mauser.

Freda graduated from Redstone High School in 1938. She was a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church. Freda was a homemaker for her family throughout her life and her hobbies included needlepoint and working in her flower beds.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Ronald Cole and wife Janet, Richard Cole and wife Patty, Cathy Austin and husband Gene, and Audrey Taleff and husband Mike; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a sibling Barbara Molek.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8PM., and Wednesday, April 10 until 9:15AM when prayers will be said.

A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow, at 10:00AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church in Dunbar, PA.with Rev. Fr. Micah E. Kozoil as Celebrant.

Interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
