Obituary

Fred Anothony Cuteri, Jr., 65, of Uniontown, PA passed away suddenly on October 1, 2026.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Fred Sr.; mother, Malfalda Erminio; sister, Cindy Chuma; stepmother Claire Orsini; maternal grandparents Emilio and Angela Petrucci Erminio; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Tressa DeMasse Cuteri; father-in-law, Jim Davoli; and mother-in-law, Ann Davoli.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Davoli); daughter, Amanda; son, Freddie; sisters Angie (Joe) Novak, and Terri (Greg) Downer; brother-in-law Jimmy (Teresa) Davoli; numerous nieces and nephews; a few special aunts; and an abundance of wonderful cousins.

Fred was a devout Catholic and member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church. Working as a union carpenter by trade, he worked for many years at PPG Place. He is also a proud member and enjoyed bocce at the Uniontown Son’s of Italy.

Fred was a kind, gentle man who valued family traditions and loved good food, time in his garden and going to Steelers games.

Though Fred was an avid woodworker, his family believes that out of everything he built, the life he has left behind was by far his best work.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Sunday, October 4th from 2 to 8 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 5th at 10 AM at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church,180 Old Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown, PA 15401.

Interment is in Lafayette Memorial Park.
