Frank A. Mutnansky, age 57, of Uniontown, PA., passed away on November 15, 2013 at Allegheny General Hospital with his loving family by his side. Frank was born in Connellsville, PA., son of the late Frank and Bessie Mutnansky
Frank was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He was a caring and generous
man, loved by all who knew him. Frank attended St. Mary's middle school and was a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School. He retired after 29 years from Anchor Hocking Corporation. Frank had a love of music and spent many of his younger years playing country music in local clubs, while in these last years, he played to a much younger audience; his granddaughters.
Frank had a genuine passion and appreciation for the land. He nurtured his own family farm and was an active member of many agricultural groups that supported local farmers and 4-H members. He served as President of the Fayette County Cattlemen's Association, Director on the Fayette County Fair Board, President of the Keystone Farmers Cooperative, Director & Vice Chairman of the Fayette County Conservation District, and member of the Farm Bureau.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Bessie Mutnansky; his granddaughter, Angelica Stoneking; a brother, Tom Mutnansky; a nephew, Terry Boyd, Jr.; a niece, Amanda Piwowar; a brother-in-law, Greg Haines; a great niece, Breanne Walkos; and his grandmother-in-law Nettie McIntyre.
Left to cherish his memory are, his wife, Candy Mutnansky; two sons, Francis Mutnansky and wife Nicole, and Donald Stoneking and wife Heather; his three granddaughters, Leilah, Lilly, and Gracie; mother and father-in-law, Wilma and Don Stafford, Aunt Becky and Uncle Bobby; brothers-in-law, Dave Walters and Kevin Haines; sisters-in-law, Kim Piwowar, Belinda Haines, and Sharon Mutnansky; God children, William Holchin, Jr. and Amanda Jo Siegel; nephews, Chris Piwowar and wife Emily, and Kevin Haines; nieces, Nicole Walkos, Marissa Mutnansky, and Tiffany Haines; great nieces and nephews, Christopher, Braydon, Landon, Emily, Hunter Thomas, Pac Man, Brylea, and Kaylee; as well as many cousins and close family friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA., on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and again on Wednesday, November 20, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
A Blessing Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Fr. James Clark officiating.
Interment will be held at Mt. Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
