Mr. Frank C. "Pap" Hlatky, 78, of McClellandtown, passed away at his home on May 27, 2024.

He was born in Shoaf, PA on June 17, 1945, to the late Steve and Mildred Popovich Hlatky.

Frank married Mary Ann Kovach, and she preceded him in death on June 13, 2009.

He was a retired underground coal miner for Duquesne Light.  He also drove commercial truck from 1985 to 2018.

He is survived by two sons, Mark Hlatky and wife Jennifer of McClellandtown, PA, and Kevin L. Hlatky and wife Susan of Herbert, PA; a daughter in law, Charlene Hlatky of Lewisville, TX; seven grandchildren, Mark Hlatky, Jr., Steven Hlatky, Frank S. Hlatky, Jr., Christie Ann Hlatky, Christopher Hlatky and wife Courtney, Gregory Hlatky, and Savanna Hlatky; five great grandchildren; a brother, Richard Hlatky; four sisters, Millie Tajc, Caroline Kelley, Katherine Gordon, and Karen Migyanko; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by a son, Frank S. Hlatky; three brothers, Fred, Raymond, and James Hlatky; and two sisters, Betty Kollar and Dolores Baniowski.

Friends and family are invited to attend the viewing for Frank at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401 on Thursday, May 30 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 31 at 10 AM officiated by Pastor Steven Hlatky.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
