Francis P Mullooly's Obituary
Francis Mullooly, age 87, of Masontown, PA, Passed away on Wednesday January 4, 2012 in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born on October 12, 1924 in Sturgeon, Pa, son of Murtaugh and Loretta (Callahan) Mullooly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death, by his sister Elnora Mullooly.
Francis was a devout Catholic, often ateending daily Mass until his health declined. He was a member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Masontown, Pa., and a Benedictine Oblate affiliated with St. Vincent Archabbey located in Latrobe.He retired from the U.S. Steel Research Center in Monroeville and later from the Mon View Testing Laboratory.
He is survived by his sister, Martha Mullooly of Masontown, Pa., Francis leaves behind six "Honorary" nieces and nephews who will fondly remember him: John Peteres and Betsy, Larry Peters and Lois, Kathy Peters Walton and Gary, Mary Jeanne Peters, Father Jude Peters, O.C.D. and Beth Peters Baugh and Rob.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date.
