Frances Louise (Weimer) Zuzindlak Wood, age 88, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Haragos Personal Care Home, in Uniontown, with her loving niece, Debbie by her side. She was born on February 23, 1927, in Masontown, PA, daughter of the late Arthur N. Weimer and Helen (Alexander) Jablonski Weimer.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Zuzindlak, her second husband, George Wood, and a nephew, whom she raised, John D. "Jack" Weimer.

Frances was a graduate of Masontown High School. She was a member of Third Presbyterian Church in prior years. Frances worked at Easter Seal and was employed there for over 18 years. Frances loved animals and during her life cared for many unwanted pets and strays.

Left to cherish her memory, are her niece, Debra A. Dillon and her husband Robert of Adah, PA, and her nephew, Franklin J. Weimer of Waynesburg, PA, both of whom she raised as her children; also a niece Lisa Potkul and her children Creed and Cyrus of Hopwood, PA and; great- nieces and nephews, Danielle Sandusky and her fiance Ryan Wilson, Jennifer Weimer, Brooke Collins, and Haley and Robby Dillon; and 7 great-great nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mary Jo Haragos; her daughter, Jennifer and little Macy; and the staff of Haragos Personal Care Home.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Saturday, April 18, from 11-12 Noon, The Hour of Service, with Pastor Brian Young Officiating.

Interment will be private.
