Obituary

Floyd Thomas McDonough, 82, of Uniontown, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016, at Kindred Hospital, Beaver, PA. Floyd was born in Fayette City, PA, a son of the late Annabelle (Reese) McDonough and Leonard Archie McDonough.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his sisters, Annabelle Myers and Gwendolyn Oakes; brothers-in-laws, Charles Myers and Joseph Furano and granddaughter Denna.

Floyd served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and worked at the Valve Division of TRW in Euclid, OH for 42 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Margaret (Voithoffer) McDonough, who was the love of his life; his children, Barbara (Jake) Phillips, Diana (Gregory) Monasky, and Keith (Kathy) McDonough; grandchildren, Konstantinos (Bridget), Tasia, Stefan, Michelle, Jennifer (Saad), Marie (Allan); great-grandchildren Annabelle and Adriano; siblings, John Richard (Grace) McDonough, Edwina Lilley, Wanetta Rose Furano, Patricia Dianna (John) Harrison, and David (Patty) McDonough.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext, Uniontown, PA., on Wednesday, January 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The Hour of Service, with Pastor Lee Maley Officiating, will be Thursday, January 14 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, PA.
