Eva (Sedilko) Bennett, 77, of Uniontown, PA, formerly of Bitner, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at her home.

She was born on Saturday, March 7, 1936 in Johnstown, PA, daughter of John and Helen (Simchock) Sedilko. Her parents and husband of 43 years Thomas W. Bennett preceded her in death, as well as many brothers and sisters.

Eva had been employed with Connellsville Sportswear, A & D Sportswear in Uniontown, and retired from Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Spa.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tom Bennett and wife Marcia of Lemont Furnace, PA; Tammy Thrasher and significant other Steve Rice of Sabraton, WV; and Tina Lowry and husband Tony of Ohiopyle, PA; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and a sister Margaret Ruman ofConnectict; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, November 10, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.; and on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., the Hour of Service, with Rev. Vicki D. Sheppard Officiating.

Private interment will be held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
