Emma Marie (Girolami) Barnhart, 99 a resident of Hillside Manor formerly of Leckrone, Pa. passed away on Saturday March 15, 2014

She was born on May 5, 1914 in Brier Hill, Pa., a daughter of Pietro and Philomena (Tirabassi) Girolami.

Emma was a member of The Former Our Lady of Perpetual Help St Mary Leckrone, Pa. she retired from The Albert Gallatin School District were she served as assistant cafeteria manager for 16 years. She also served as a Democratic committee woman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray W. Barnhart (2001), and her 4 brothers; James Girolami, Leo Nello Girolami and her twin brother John Girolami and Joseph Girolami.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children Leo R Barnhart and his with Judith of Palmer, Pa., Gerald W. Barnhart and his wife Joanne of Pittsburgh, Pa., Francis B. Barnhart and his wife Jeannette of McClellandtown, Pa., these grandchildren; Leann C. Glab, Jerome M. Barnhart, Theresa M. Berry, John R. Barnhart, 6 great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Tuesday March 18, 2014 from 9-11 a.m. when a blessing service will be held with Father William G. Berkey officiating.

Interment will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
