Emily A. (Lee) Kolencik, 79, of Perryopolis, PA, passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, May 25, 2015, at Family Hospice and Paliative Care, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born and raised in Masontown, daughter of the late Thomas Randolph Lee, Sr. who was raised in Masontown, and the late Mary Margaret (Wilhelm) Lee originally of Republic.
Emily had been a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church of Perryopolis, and also had been a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, whose grace, patience and understanding was beyond measure.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 60 years, Rudolph L. Kolencik; their children, Rudolph S. Kolencik of Greensburg, PA, Francis A. Kolencik and wife Susan of Perryopolis, PA, Mary Kolencik of Jessup, MD, and Julie Ziring and husband Neal of Columbia, MD; three grandchildren, Lindsay Bolt and husband Josiah, Stephanie Moats and husband Burt, Nicholas Kolencik and wife Nicole; three great-grandchildren, Alexis Darss, Christian Whetsel, and Kimber Moats; nine brothers and sisters, Nancy Herring, Edith Loraditch, Mary Jen Mullen, George Lee, Thomas R. Lee, Jr., Margaret Halavick, Frances Russell, Harry Lee, and Sandy Double; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA today (Thursday), May 28, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.; and also on Friday, May 29, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
A Blessing Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Father Bob Lubic Officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, PA.
