Emily L. (Kollar) Grove, 95, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at the Marquis Gardens Place, in Uniontown. She was born November 7, 1921, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Galetko) Kollar.

In addition to her parents, Emily was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Grove, in 2011; her brothers and sisters, Emil Kollar, Michael Kollar, Andrew Kollar, Edward Kollar, Francis Kollar, Bridgett Brownfield, and Elizabeth Yoder.

Emily was a long time member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, in Uniontown. She served her country proudly in the Woman's Army Corps, WAC, as a Photographic Laboratory Technician. Emily received the WAAC Service Medal, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, and Good Conduct Medal.

Left to cherish Emily's memory, are her sister, Pauline Wilkinson; brother, William Kollar and his wife Kay; and many loving nieces, nephews, and their families.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Wednesday, February 15, from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, February 16, until 9:15 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.

The Funeral Mass will follow in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, 61 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, PA, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Father James W. Clark as Celebrant.

Interment Services will be held in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA, where Military Honors will be accorded by the Amvets General George C. Marshall Post #103.

The Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
