Elsie (Danko) David, age 77, of Uniontown, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2015, at home with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 4, 1937, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Steve and Elizabeth (Pifko) Danko.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Theodore Danko, Victor Danko, and Tony Danko.

Elsie was a member of St. George Maronite Catholic Church in Uniontown. She loved going to Williamsburg, Va. with her family. She also enjoyed bingo, going to the casino, polkas, shopping and cooking.

Left to cherish her memory are, her husband, Fred "Hawk" David; her children, Denise Chesler and her husband Ron, Fred "Duke" David and his wife Sherri, Ron David, Daniel "Ta" David and his wife Debbie, and Brian "Putty" David and his wife Rhonda; grandchildren, Ryan Chesler, Dylan Chesler, Ronnie Chesler, Freddie David and his wife Jess, Hayley David, Richard David, Stephanie David, Rebeccah David, Brian David II,
and Kaycee David; brothers and sisters, June David, Paul Danko, Eleanor Stefanko, Sylvestor Danko, Costan Danko, Betty Danko, Rudy Danko, Leo Danko, John Danko, Gregg Danko, and Victoria Danko; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Hospice Nurses and Aides Bev, Cassie, Elsie, Donna, Kari, Mary Ellen, Amanda, Jaylynn, and Jill for all that they have done.

Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 North Gallatin Ave. Ext, Uniontown, PA., on Monday, April 13, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.

The Service of Ghinnaz will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

The Divine Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, April 14, at 10 a.m. in St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 6 Lebanon Terrace, Uniontown, PA with Rev. Father Sami Chaaya Officiating.

Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA
