Ella Marie Molnar, 94, passed from this life on July 22, 2015. Born October 7, 1920, she was the daughter of Phillip and Santina Amurri.
She lived the majority of her life in Masontown, PA where she worked for many years as a beautician and a wonderful homemaker. Her passions were crocheting, and cooking and baking for her family and friends. She and her husband also enjoyed the time spent at their home in Homosassa Springs, Florida. But, what she really loved most, was her family.
Ella was the wife of Joseph D'Amico who passed away at the young age of 24 in 1944. She later married William Molnar, her husband for over 50 years until his passing in 2000. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Stella, Elmer, Eugene and Joseph; Ella also mourned the passing of her son, William P. Molnar in 1997.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Rosemarie Stewart and her husband Dr. Charles Stewart; her grandson, Dr. Joseph Answine and his wife Louise; her granddaughters, Autumn Grove and her husband Josh; and Erin Molnar; Also missing her cooking and crocheting will be her 6 great grandchildren; Amber, Alex, Addie, Katie, Ethan and Emma.
Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Home Inc., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, PA, on Friday, July 24 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
The Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Parish, 101 South Washington Street, Masontown, PA, with Rev. Father James F. Petrovsky as Celebrant.
Entombment will be held in the Sylvan Heights Cemetery Chapel of Memories Mausoleum, Uniontown, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
