Elizabeth J. Oziemblowsky, 89 of McClellandtown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 30, 2014.

She was born November 5, 1924 in Smithfield, Pa., a daughter of George and Marie (Marcinek) Mayher.

Elizabeth will be remembered as a beloved mother and grandmother, she was a member of the former Our Lady of Perpetual Help St. Mary Roman Catholic Church of Leckrone, Pa.,

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph T. Oziemblowsky Sr., her son Thomas J. Oziemblowsky, sisters and brothers; Sue Plaski, Mary Canjar, Anna Mayher, George Mayher, Theresa Mayher, Rosaline Mayher, Agnes Persley, Margaret Lepock and John Mayher.

Left to cherish her memory is her children Joseph T. Oziemblowsky Jr., and his wife LuAnn, Richard J. Oziemblowsky, daughter in law Darla Jean Oziemblowsky, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sisters; Helen Krajnak and Dolores Mayher.

Friends will be received at the Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 515 N. Main St., Masontown, PA, on Friday, August 1, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.; and on Saturday, August 2, 2014 until 9:30 a.m. when prayers of transfer will be said.

The funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Parish Roman Catholic Church, 101 S. Washington St., Masontown, with the Rev. William G. Berkey as celebrant.

Interment will be held in St Mary Cemetery, Leckrone, PA.
