Elizabeth C. Gayder Budinsky, age 91, of Katy, TX., passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Heritage Park Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Margarette, PA. on October 22, 1920, daughter of the late Paul Harvan and Mary (Labuda) Harvan.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert Budinsky; two brothers, Steve Harvan and Michael J. Harvan; and three sisters, Margaret Harvan, Dolores Williams, and Helen Marshall.



Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joseph P. Gayder and wife Nancy of Katy, TX., and Shirley A. (Gayder) Kelly and husband Robert of Cleveland, OH.; four grandchildren, Cheryl, Marlene, Robert and Ann; three great-grandchildren; two surviving sisters, Mary Orr of North Olmsted, OH., and Catherine Miller of Uniontown, PA., one sister in law, Fidelis Harvan, of BrookPark, OH., and several special nieces and nephews.

In the late 1970's Betty moved to Uniontown, where she worked for St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church. It was at St. Mary's that she met and Married Al Budinsky, the love of her life.



Friends will be received at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 16 with Rev. Fr. Stephen R. Bugay as Celebrant.

Interment will be held at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local food pantry or to a charity of your choice.

The Parish Wake Service will be held on Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
