Elizabeth Ann "Betty Ann" Watkins' Obituary
Elizabeth Ann (Betty Ann) Watkins, of Lemont Furnace, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16, 2010. Betty Ann was at her home, with her family by her side.
She was born on August 15, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA.
She worked as a Secretary at Berkowitz factories in both Uniontown and Waynesburg, Pennsylvania for over 40 years. Betty Ann also had a strong devotion to her family, and deeply cared for her two cats, Samantha and Lulu. In her later years she shared a love for the outdoors with her husband Dan.
Betty Ann is survived by her loving husband, John (Dan) Watkins; her mother, Irene Florkevich; a step-sister Mary Ellen Engbert; two aunts, Dorothy Florkevich and Julia florkevich; as well as Jerome Florkevich and several other cousins.
Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, on Sunday, December 17, 2010 from 6-8 PM, for a Memorial Service celebrating Betty Ann's life.
Interment will be private.
