Eleanor G. "Sis" (Haines) McCombie, 84, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Sunshine Estates Personal Care Home, Connellsville, PA. She was born on November 22, 1928 in Connellsville, PA, daughter of Charles Edward and Myrle (Grindle) Haines.

Her parents, and her sisters Arlene M. Sommers and Audrey Miller preceded her in death.

Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband, Kenneth E. McCombie; their children, Bruce E. McCombie of Atlanta, GA, and Amy L. McCombie-Shelson of Bryantown, MD; her sister, Geraldine R. Comforti of Connellsville, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express special thanks to the nurses and caregivers of Sunshine Estates Personal Care Home, and also Amedisys Hospice, for their excellent and compassionate care.

Friends will be received in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, today, Wednesday, March 20, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.; and also on Thursday, March 21, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., the Hour of Service with Pastor Ray Keefer Officiating.

Interment will be privately held at Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, PA
