Eleanor Jean (Beck) Pegg, 83, of Uniontown, PA, formerly of Smithfield, died suddenly on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at home. She was born on January 7, 1931 in Redstone Township, daughter of the late Thomas and Bernice (Smith) Beck. She leaves behind a daughter, Dana Lynn, and many friends.

She was affectionately known as "Jeannie" by her friends. She gifted her body to the University of Pittsburgh Medical School in hope that her act could help others.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11 AM in the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, Inc., 603 N. Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, PA, with dear friend Pastor Nicholas Cook Officiating.
