Mrs. Elaine J. Blanda, 89, of Uniontown, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Uniontown Hospital.

She was born in Uniontown on November 26, 1936 to the late George and Helen Liptock of Bitner.

Elaine graduated from Uniontown High School, class of 1954.

She married Mr. George A. Blanda on October 20, 1956.

Elaine was a member of St. Mary Nativity Church.

She worked as a legal secretary for forty-eight years.

Elaine enjoyed going to bingo and traveling to casinos with her husband.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-nine years, George A. Blanda of Uniontown; son, George C. Blanda, Sr. and girlfriend Michele Wilson of Uniontown; sin in law, William Clancey of Uniontown; three grandchildren, Kaitlin Lamison and husband Doug of Muncie, IN, George Blanda, Jr. and partner Jeffrey Johnson of Uniontown, and Andrew Blanda and fiance Tricia Bechtol of Fairchance; four great grandchildren, Westley Lamison, Mikey, Cole, and Emilee Blanda; a sister, Janice Liptak and husband Nick of Bitner; a niece, Carla Roche of Colorado Springs, CO; a sister in law, Gloria Liptock of Colorado Springs, CO; and other close family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee Clancey; a brother, Leonard Liptock; and a niece, Sherry Moffit.

Visitation for Elaine will be held at the Stephen R. Haky Funeral Home, 603 N. Gallatin Ave. Ext., Uniontown, PA 15401, on Tuesday, September 8th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 9th at 10 AM at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 180 Old Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown, PA 15401, with prayers of transfer at 9:15 AM at the funeral home.

Interment is in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
